Air Conditioning Repair For Cars and Trucks
Five Signs Your Car AC Needs To Be Serviced?
- Your car air conditioning blows only slightly cooler than the outside air.
- Your car's air conditioner blows air that smells like mildew and mold.
- Your A/C only works while driving.
- You have low airflow even at the highest fan setting.
- Water condensing or dripping on your foot while driving.
Don't wait! If your car's A/C is working at reduced efficiency, it's worth a visit to A.G. Automotive & Diagnosis. Taking care of regular maintenance now can help you avoid more expensive AC repair costs down the road. Sometimes fixing a broken air conditioner is as simple and cost effective as adding new coolant.
Most truck and car air conditioning systems break eventually with usage. Hoses that feed the AC unit may crack, clog or drip if not serviced. Let us service your car or truck and keep your cooling system performing at its peak. Call us at 818-578-5191 to learn more about how we can get your air conditioning running again!

Repair Your Car's AC Compressor
Let A.G. Automotive & Diagnosis Repair Your Car's AC Compressor
The cool air in your car is produced primarily by the compressor. The four main functions that your vehicle's compressor carries out include pressurizing the refrigerant to cool cabin air, monitoring and controlling temperature output, sensing temperature changes inside and outside the vehicle, and moving air to your car's AC condenser.

Your vehicle's A/C condenser is usually located in the front of the radiator. When your AC compressor is pressurizing the refrigerant flows to the condenser to reduce the temperature and pressure. The condenser is a vital component in keeping your car's cabin temperature cool. It moves the cooled liquid refrigerant to the receiver/dryer or accumulator.

We brought our Mazda CX-5 in for an AC check, just a week after our Ford Fusion which needed numerous hose replacements. We've been using A.G. for a handful of years now for the Fusion, while the Mazda was serviced by the dealer until the warranty just recently expired. My Fusion was at A.G. for about a week which was a little bit longer than expected. But I realized that parts and shipping can have delays due to all the supply chain issues going on right now. And it helped in finding cheaper parts as they were able to shop around, which lowered my charge from the original quote. So, a week later, we decided to bring our Mazda in, basically without any appointment. The dealer wanted an insane amount of money to refresh the AC. But A.G. checked and repaired our AC issue and got it in and out in the same day. I think they did it so quick as a quiet courtesy for the delay with the Fusion, which, in my opinion, shows great customer service. We will continue using A.G. for all our auto repairs, as well as recommend them to our friends and family. Chuck is a cool, up front guy and the two women who handle the administrative work and the customers, Amber and Tammy, are very friendly and courteous.
